Three anchorages, half a day
This is the shortest trip that still feels like proper sailing. We leave Grand-Case, follow the north coast, and anchor wherever the water is clearest that day — usually at Créole Rock, a nature reserve and the best snorkelling on the island.
You cannot drive to Happy Bay: you either walk in or arrive by sea. It is the second stop, the one where people swim and the paddleboards go overboard. Friar's Bay closes the loop, more sheltered when the wind picks up.
The boat takes up to 10 people, but it only sails for your group. Kharim adapts the route to the sea of the day, not to a printed programme.

From cast-off to the dock

Boarding — Grand-Case jetty
Welcome on board, safety briefing, a snack and cold drinks. We agree the departure time with you when you book — morning or afternoon.

Créole Rock
Twenty minutes along the coast. Créole Rock is a nature reserve: plenty of fish, clear water, a shallow bottom. Masks and fins overboard.

Happy Bay
A beach you can only reach on foot or by sea. We anchor off it, the paddleboards go in the water, and there is usually nobody there.

Friar's Bay, then back
The last stop, and the most sheltered of the three when the trade wind gets up. Then a quiet run back to Grand-Case, under sail if the wind allows.
All routes are subject to weather and sea conditions. Kharim always chooses the safest and most beautiful route available.

The best snorkelling on the island
Créole Rock is a protected nature reserve. Shallow, full of fish, sheltered: it is where we take anyone putting on a mask for the first time.
Two beaches you can't drive to
Happy Bay and Friar's Bay have to be earned: on foot along a trail, or from the water. Arriving by sea changes everything.
Private, never shared
Up to 10 people, but only your own. No group boarding, no waiting on the dock.
The route follows the sea, not the other way round
If swell works into one anchorage, we move to another. Kharim knows this coast: there is always somewhere sheltered.

Is the price per person?
No. 950 € in low season is the whole boat and its crew, for 4 guests. Each additional guest joins for 90 €, up to 6 additional guests — 10 people on board at most.
Do we leave in the morning or the afternoon?
Either works: the boat is chartered privately, so we set the time with you when you book. Mornings usually mean flatter water and a quieter Créole Rock.
Do we need to be able to swim?
No. Nothing requires you to get in the water, and there are life jackets on board for everyone. Plenty of our guests stay on deck and watch.
Is lunch served on board?
Not on the half-day: a welcome snack and unlimited cold drinks. For a proper meal served on board, that's the full-day cruise.
Can we bring young children?
Yes, and it is the trip we recommend for them: short, close to shore, sheltered anchorages and very little open-water sailing.
