The story

A night on board, when the bay settles

The cockpit table set for dinner, facing the lights of Grand-Case

Grand-Case is a busy bay during the day. Then the boats head in, the engines stop, and all that is left is the water, the village lighting up, and you. That is when we leave — the night on board starts where everyone else's day ends.

The anchorage is a few minutes from the jetty. A cocktail up front while the sun drops, then Sophie's dinner served on deck, cooked on board from whatever the market gave her. After that there is nothing left to do: the Caribbean sky is enough.

You sleep in a private cabin, on a boat that barely moves. In the morning, coffee facing the sea, a last swim, and back at the jetty by 11 am — the whole morning is still yours.

How it unfolds

How your eighteen hours on board unfold

The anchorage inside the bay is chosen according to the weather.

  1. Evening — 5 pm into the night

  2. Boarding — Grand-Case jetty, 5 pm

We collect you at the jetty for your transfer on board. Bags stowed in the cabin, a short briefing, and the boat is yours at anchor — no sailing is included in this cruise.

  3. Anchoring, and sunset

Settle in and enjoy the house apéritif as the sun goes down.

  4. A dinner worth the name

A proper meal cooked on board from fresh local produce and served at a table, as the lights of Grand-Case come on along the shore. The village is three hundred metres away, and feels much further.

  5. The night at anchor

A private cabin, the hatch open, water lapping against the hull. At anchor a catamaran stays remarkably steady: you sleep rocked by the sea, under the stars.

  6. Next morning — until 11 am

  7. Waking up, and breakfast

You wake up facing the sea, in the morning quiet. Breakfast served in the lounge or on deck, as you prefer.

  8. A swim, then back

The water is perfectly flat at that hour — the best moment for a last swim. Back at the jetty by 11 am.

Five in the afternoon. The village lights come on behind you.

Two days, one night at anchor in Grand Case bay — the shortest way to sleep at sea.

Dinner on deck, the water flat, the anchor down until eleven the next morning.

Four of you at most, because the boat sleeps four. Everything else, we handle.

Catamaran Zéphyr. One night on board, off Saint-Martin.

A night on board — far more than a room with a view

The bay to yourselves

From 5 pm the day trips are back in. What was busy turns silent — and you are already at anchor.

Dinner cooked on board

Sophie cooks on board from fresh local produce and serves at a table. It is not a tray: it is dinner.

The whole boat, for two

The price covers 2 guests for the whole boat, privatised: we are here for you alone. No shared cabin, no neighbours on deck.

The shortest way to sleep at sea

Eighteen hours on board, only minutes from the jetty. You board in the evening and are back on land in the morning: a real night at sea, without giving up a day of your holiday.

100% private

The whole boat, your group, and nobody else.

Certified captain

Capitaine 200, CE category A vessel, zero incidents.

Tailor-made route

The questions we are asked

Questions about the night at anchor

Is the price per person?

No. 950 € in low season is the whole boat with its crew, dinner and breakfast, for 2 guests. Each additional guest joins for 110 €, up to 2 additional guests.

Do you actually sleep well at anchor?

Better than you would expect. A catamaran does not heel and barely moves at anchor, and Grand-Case Bay is sheltered. The water against the hull sends you to sleep rather than the other way round.

Do we stay in Grand-Case all night?

Yes, that is the idea: one bay, you sleep there and come back. If you want to change island and anchorage, the signature cruises are what you are after.

Can we celebrate an anniversary or plan a proposal?

It is one of the reasons this trip exists. Tell us in the notes field: champagne, flowers, a set table, a cake — we'll have it ready.

What if the weather turns?

Kharim decides on the day. If the anchorage will not be comfortable, we postpone rather than give you a bad night.
