Long enough to settle in
A two-day cruise gives you a glimpse. Eight days is something else: after three nights on board you stop counting hours and start following the weather. It is the only length that lets you wait for the right wind for a crossing rather than take what you're given.
The route covers both islands. Tintamarre and the north of Saint-Martin, the crossing to Saint-Barth, Île Fourchue and Anse Colombier, a stop in Gustavia, then home along the west coast — Baie Longue, Friar's Bay — finishing in the calmest water there is.
Seven breakfasts, five lunches and six dinners are cooked on board; the missing meals are the ones you will take ashore, in Gustavia and Grand-Case. Nature reserve and mooring fees are included — over a week, that is not a detail.

The first days — Saint-Martin and Tintamarre

The Tintamarre reserve
The empty island to the north-east, its turtle grass and white-sand beach. We stay until the day boats have gone.
The crossing, and Saint-Barth

Across to Île Fourchue
Two hours of open water, on the day the wind allows it. The horseshoe bay of an uninhabited volcanic rock, with no light ashore.

Anse Colombier
A bay reached only from the sea or by a footpath. The best snorkelling on Saint-Barth, and one of the calmest anchorages in the Caribbean.

A stop in Gustavia
The harbour, the shops, lunch ashore. It is one of the two meals you will take off the boat, and it is not included — deliberately.
Home along the west of Saint-Martin

Baie Longue
The longest beach on the island, on the leeward coast. Flat water, sunsets facing the open sea, and very few boats.

Friar's Bay and Créole Rock
The last anchorages, and the most sheltered. Créole Rock is a reserve: the best snorkelling in Saint-Martin to finish on.
The last day — back to Grand-Case

A last morning at sea
Breakfast at anchor, a last swim, then back to the jetty. Dinner on the final evening is ashore, on the gourmet strip of Grand-Case.
All routes are subject to weather and sea conditions. Kharim always chooses the safest and most beautiful route available.

Is the price per person?
No. 6 600 € in low season is the whole boat with its crew, mooring fees and eighteen meals aboard, for 2 guests. Each additional guest joins for 1 785 €, up to 2 additional guests.
Why isn't there a day-by-day programme?
Because no honest skipper commits to a daily schedule eight days out. The route is known — Tintamarre, Île Fourchue, Colombier, Gustavia, the west coast — but the order and the pace follow the sea and the wind that week.
Which meals aren't included?
Seven breakfasts, five lunches and six dinners are cooked on board. The missing meals are the ones you take ashore: a lunch on Saint-Barth and dinner on the last evening in Grand-Case.
Can we explore Saint-Barth ashore?
Yes, the Gustavia stop allows for it. Renting a car to tour the island is not included in the price — tell us and we'll point you to the right place.
Are eight days on board too long?
It is the question everyone asks who has never slept more than two nights on a boat. Zephyr has four cabins and two hulls, so there is room — and you touch land almost every day.
