The best hour of the day, without the crowd
At 5 pm the day boats head back and Grand-Case Bay empties out. That is exactly when we leave. Two hours is enough: time to pull away from the jetty, cut the engine, and let the boat settle facing the sun.
Sophie makes the canapés that same afternoon, with whatever the market gave her. Kharim serves his cocktail up front on the trampoline, as the light starts to turn. There is nothing else to do but watch.
The boat is yours alone. No shared group, no schedule to keep with other passengers: 6 people at most, and they are yours.

How your two hours unfold
This is a guide, not a schedule. Every detail adapts to sea conditions, your pace and the weather.
5 pm to 7 pm

Boarding — Grand-Case jetty, 5 pm
We pick you up at the jetty — the transfer is included. Short briefing, shoes off, and we cast off.

Out of the bay, then anchor
Fifteen minutes is all it takes to find calm water and the right angle on the sun. Engine off, the boat settles, the noise goes.

The captain's cocktail
Kharim's house cocktail and Sophie's canapés, served on deck. A swim is possible if you feel like it — the water is still warm at that hour.

Sunset, then back
The sun touches the water around 6.15 pm depending on the season. We stay until the colour fades, then head quietly back to the jetty by 7 pm — in time for dinner on the Grand-Case strip.
All routes are subject to weather and sea conditions. Kharim always chooses the safest and most beautiful route available.

By 5 pm the day trips are back in. We leave as everyone returns — which is what makes the bay quiet and the water flat.

Is the price per person?
No. 650 € in low season is the whole boat and its crew, for 4 guests. Beyond that, each additional guest joins for 70 €, up to 2 additional guests.
What time do we actually leave?
Around 5 pm, back by about 7 pm. The exact time follows the sunset, which shifts by an hour between December and June — we confirm it when you book.
Is there a proper meal on board?
No, and that's deliberate: the apéritif is an apéritif. The captain's cocktail and homemade canapés, enough to carry you to dinner. For a meal served on board, the full-day cruise is the one you want.
What if the weather turns?
Kharim decides on the day. If the sea or the wind won't make for a good trip, we postpone or refund — we never sail just to sail.
Can we plan a proposal or a birthday?
This is the trip where it happens most. Tell us in the notes field: champagne, flowers, a cake — we'll have it ready.
